The trailer of Akshay Kumar's much awaited flick, Laxmmi Bomb will be released on Friday. The 53-year-old actor took to Instagram to share a short video that features a bomb that is about to explode. “Hassoge, darroge aur apne ghar valo ke sath milkar kal sab se bada dhamaka. Earlier, Akshay dropped a spooky glimpse from Laxxmi Bomb and announced the release date of the film on social media. Laxmmi Bomb will feature Akshay essaying a transgender role onscreen for the first time ever. Directed by Raghava Lawrence, the comedy-horror movie is the remake of director’s own Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana. Along with Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani stars as the female of the film.

Earlier, Akshay Kumar had shared a video on social media, asking viewers to keep the popcorn ready and prepare for the release of the film. The video began with Akshay Kumar, all dressed up in a suit, preparing to watch the film within the comfort of his home. Disney+Hotstar had announced the release of seven big films in June this year, via a virtual press conference. Akshay Kumar will also be seen in Bell Bottom. The actor shot for the film in a start-to-end schedule in the UK and returned to India recently. Bell Bottom is slated to release in April next year and stars Vaani Kapoor opposite Akshay Kumar. Akshay Kumar is also awaiting the release of his film Sooryavanshi. The film is the fourth film in Rohit Shetty's cop universe and also stars Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn.
