In a sad bit of news, Dinesh Kumar, one of actor Dhanush biggest fans passed away on Thursday (November 5). Dinesh Kumar, who was the secretary of Dhanush's Erode district fan club, died due to illness. Dhanush's fans expressed grief and have been organising welfare activities in memory of him. Dhanush took to Twitter to express condolence and said that Dinesh Kumar will be truly missed. Dhanush tweet in Tamil can be translated as, "Erode district fan club secretary Mr. Dineshkumar died today due to poor health. The news regarding his demise hurts me. My deepest condolences to him, his family members and friends (sic)."

The final rites of Dinesh Kumar was performed at his residence in Erode in presence of Dhanush's fans.On the work front, Dhanush is awaiting the release of his upcoming film, Jagame Thanthiram. His film with Mari Selvaraj titled Karnan was also wrapped up recently. According to the most recent reports, he will be joining hands with Vetrimaaran yet again for a film. Dhanush has quite a few films in the kitty, including Atrangi Re, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. Dhanush recently shared a picture of himself with composer AR Rahman clicked during the recording session of a song from Atrangu Re. Atrangi Re was slated to release on Valentine's Day 2021 but with the shoot being deferred, the release date is also likely to get postponed.
