“Jitni Umar Likhi Hai, Utni Likhi Hai”: Salman Khan on Lawrence Bishnoi Death Threats

Bollywood star Salman Khan is continuously receiving death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Speaking about this at a promotional event of the Sikandar movie, he said that all is in God's hands. He said, “Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai (It's all up to God, Allah. What is written is written. That's all)."

He also said that moving from one place to another with tight security is very difficult, while sharing the challenges he is facing after threats and firing outside his residence in Mumbai.

"Sometimes, having to move around with so many people becomes a problem. Galaxy, shoot, shoot Galaxy. No detours," he said at the press meet held amid tight security and off the camera.

In April 2024, two men on a bike fired multiple shots outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. When police conducted a probe, they learned that the shooting was aimed at intimidating the actor and was done on the instructions of Bishnoi.

Bishnoi is in prison in Gujarat. He is upset with the actor over the 1998 blackbuck shooting case, in which Salman Khan was the accused. Blackbucks are considered sacred for the Bishnoi Community. Hence, the actor has received frequent threats over the years.
