Superstar Kamal Haasan has put out a tweet stating that he was ready to provide his former home to be converted to a temporary hospital if the government approves. The star gave a shout out to all the members of the medical fraternity and applauded their effort. The latest announcement by the actor comes as a huge relief to the government in this testing time when authorities are running from pillar to post to provide the best medical facilities.  The actor has been actively sharing a number of awareness messages on Twitter about COVID-19. Haasan earlier, he shared an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media, through which he urged the PM to provide aid to people who cannot practically work from home like farmers, fishermen and so on, at a time when the whole nation is observing self-quarantine. 

He requested financial aid be provided to people who are dependant on daily wages to run their lives. For the unversed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a complete ationwide lockdown for the next 21 days to curb the spread of the coronavirus. Meanwhile, the number of positive cases in Tamil Nadu has been on the rise. The number of positive cases in India is touching 600 with 11 confirmed deaths.
