WhatsApp chats allegedly between news anchor Arnab Goswami and Ex-BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta have been leaked online. The chats are documented in close to 500 pages. One of the snapshots from the chats, which went viral on Saturday, has mention of Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut. Arnab has alleged that Kangana Ranaut has ‘erotomania’ and is sexually possessed with Hrithik Roshan. These chats are from 2017 and are in reference to the times when the two actors were in a feud over their alleged affair, which ended on a bad note. Now, Kangana has finally broke her silence on the controversial chats which claim that she is ‘schizophrenic’ and has ‘erotomania’.

Kangana responded to a woman who accused her of expressing unnecessary outrage over the Amazon Prime Video series Tandav and Twitter temporarily suspending her account because she cannot say anything bad about Arnab for fear of offending ‘bhakts’.Taking to Twitter, Kangana wrote in Hindi, “Rohini ji, high-level people do not talk about petty things, but petty people only like to talk about petty things. Have it your way, let us gossip a little. Arnab ji just said what Hrithik rold him. I first met him in 2019 and he was ashamed of his 2017 interview with Hrithik. Understand?” In another tweet, Kangana wrote, “Do you want more gossip? Why did Hrithik say this, why did the relationship sour, how did Arnab become my friend after being Hrithik’s friend, etc etc? These libru gossip mongers have destroyed the atmosphere of the country. Stop sneakily eating murabba and reading everyone’s chats and emails.”Kangana wrote in yet another tweet, “Till date, I have never dared to see anyone’s leaked private chats, letters, mails, pictures and videos, no matter whose it has been. It is a matter of moral values, character and self-respect. Librus will not understand.”

In the past, Kangana had come out in support of Goswami after the veteran journalist was detained in the Anvay Naik suicide case.  Kangana took a dig at the Maharashtra government and said, "Maharashtra government you arrested Arnab Goswami today, beat him ou, pulled his hair, and assaulted him. How many more houses will you break? How many voices will you stop? Sonia Sena, how many will you shut up? We will continue to speak and fight." For the uninformed, Goswami was charged under Section 306 and Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Earlier in the day, police conducted a raid at Arnab's residence and took him to the Raigad Police station. The case in question is from 2018 of 53-year-old interior designer Anvay Naik and his mother Kumud Naik who had committed suicide in May that year in Alibaug. According to the Live Hindustan report, a suicide note was found after the incident, which was allegedly written by Anvay. In this suicide note, he said that Arnab Goswami and two others did not pay him Rs 5.40 crore, due to which he faced a financial crisis.
