Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has once again become the target of online trolls over a comment he made on Farah Khan's YouTube show. Farah, an ace choreographer and director, is currently hosting a cooking show on her channel, where she visits celebrities' homes and gets them to cook. The show has been receiving a positive response from the audience.
Recently, Farah visited Karan Johar, and during their conversation, Karan mistakenly referred to the kitchen as "ghusalkhana" (bathroom) instead of "rasoi" (kitchen) in Hindi. The language blunder did not go unnoticed, and soon, social media users flooded platforms with jokes and memes.
A clip of the moment recently resurfaced on Reddit with the caption, “Is Karan doing it intentionally, or does he really not know?” Many users speculated that he was acting, while others found the mistake amusing. One user commented, “Did he just call the kitchen ‘ghusalkhana’?” Another quipped, “Maybe he does things in the kitchen that are meant for the bathroom. How does Farah know what happens at his house?” Some users also recalled Karan's past remarks on Kangana Ranaut’s English accent, accusing him of hypocrisy. “This man once mocked Kangana for her English, and now he doesn’t even know what a kitchen is called in Hindi,” one user pointed out.
Meanwhile, Karan Johar is currently busy with his next production, Nadaaniyan, which will mark the acting debut of Saif Ali Khan’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan. Ibrahim will be seen opposite Khushi Kapoor, and the film is set for a direct release on Netflix. It will also be the directorial debut of Shauna Gautam, who previously worked as an assistant director on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
