Tamil film production and distribution house Lyca Productions has bagged the theatrical rights of the much-awaited SS Rajamouli film Roudram Ranam Rudhiram aka RRR, for Tamil Nadu. Under the deal, Lyca will distribute the film in all the languages in the state. Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, the production house shared the news with their fans. The official Twitter handle of Lyca Productions wrote, "We are delighted and proud to announce The Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of THE BIGGEST PAN INDIA FILM #RRRMovie is acquired by us...  

For the unversed, Lyca Productions, had bankrolled  Rajinikanth's sci-fi film 2.0.Produced by DVV Danayya, this SS Rajamouli directorial is set in the pre-independence era of 1920 and tells the fictional tale of Indian revolutionaries. While the film presents Jr NTR in Komuram Bheem avatar, Ram Charan will be seen as Alluri Sita Ramaraju.The actioner also stars Ajay Devgn,  Alia Bhatt, Ray Stevenson, and Olivia Morris in significant roles. RRR will hit the theatres on October 13 worldwide. Director SS Rajamouli took to his official page on Twitter to share a new poster with the film's release date. He wrote, "Witness the unstoppable force of fire and water on October 13, 2021. Apart from Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, RRR will also release in other foreign languages.
