Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar took to Instagram to share a heart-warming poem describing son Babil’s emotional moments. While expressing that he is strong boy, Sutapa shared that Babil often weeps all night remembering the late actor and is not shy of confessing that he cried. Sutapa’s poem also revealed that Babil encourages her to live her dreams and follow her passions, by quoting Shah Rukh Khan’s famous dialogue from ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’.Along with her emotional poem, Sutapa Sikdar had also shared a picture of Babil from Filmfare Awards 2021. He was all teary eyed remembering his father Irrfan Khan at the event. Following his father’s footsteps, Babil is set mark his acting debut with a web show.

Babil has been using his social media to share his grief with Irrfan’s fans as he often shares videos and photos from his time with his father. Babil had also shared a few photos from Irrfan’s notebook as he geared up for his film debut. Irrfan Khan passed away on April 29, 2020. He had been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour in 2018. After the celebrated actor’s demise, Sutapa had shared in a statement, “I want to assure everyone that this is not a loss, it is a gain. It’s a gain of the things he taught us, and now we shall finally begin to truly implement it and evolve.”
