Actress Kirti Kulhari has been making headlines after claiming that she was overlooked during the promotions of the hit film Pink. The 2016 courtroom drama, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Kirti Kulhari in lead roles, was widely acclaimed. However, in a recent interview, Kirti expressed her disappointment over not receiving enough attention during the film’s promotional campaign.

Now, Taapsee Pannu has responded to Kirti’s statement. Speaking to ETimes, Taapsee said, "How can I know what she was feeling? She has every right to express her emotions. If someone feels this way, there must be a reason behind it. She voiced her concerns on her own accord. Had I known back then that Kirti felt this way, I would have spoken to her and tried to make her feel better. But I was unaware of it at the time. That being said, I would never disrespect her feelings."

She further clarified her stance, stating, "I maintain a very professional approach. Kirti and I are not close friends, but we share a good professional relationship. We also worked together in Mission Mangal, and I never noticed any disparity on a professional level. For me, Kirti was always a valued co-actor in Pink."

Kirti’s statement has sparked discussions about how promotions are handled in Bollywood, especially in multi-starrer films. While Taapsee has responded with empathy, the conversation around visibility and recognition in the industry continues.
