Few days ago pictures of Pakistani A-listers went viral on social media in which celebrities such as Faysal Quraishi, Aijaz Aslam, Zhalay Sarhadi, Saboor Aly, Anoushay Abbasi, Asad Siddiqui, Naveed Raza and Mehmood Aslam could be seen posing for a photoshoot. The photoshoot comprised of the said celebs posing for mugshots. What caught the attention of many users were the names on those mugshots. Each celeb was named after a city in Pakistan, such as Raza as Lalamusa, Aly as Sahiwal, Sarhadi as Mianwali, Aslam as Rahim Yar Khan. Stumbling upon the pictures, many Twitter users saw 'blatant' copy of popular Netflix series, Money Heist, also known as La Casa De Papel.
Though one of the actor's claimed that the film is ‘different’ from any other film, netizens flooded social media with their take on the upcoming film and called it 'Pakistani Money Heist' and how Money Heist in Pakistan would be difficult to make. While some people mocked the makers for the resemblance of a worldwide popular series, many others joked about how the upcoming film came about. A number of people tweeted that if a Pakistani version of the series is made then what are the possibilities and what would really happen. Many people mocked about how even the robbers will have to wait in long lines to reach the cash counter and rob the bank. Several other people commented that even if the robbers reach the cash counter, they will be sent to another counter to collect the cash or would be made to show ‘NIC’ papers. .
