In a big development, from the Sushant Singh Rajput case, it has been reported that the actor tried to call Rhea Chakraborty “several times” and even made a distress call to his sister Meetu Singh on June 9, five days before he took his life. According to a report on Times Now, the actor was trying to get in touch with Rhea, who had “blocked his calls” after leaving him on June 8. The channel claims that the actor reached out to his sister, alleging “Ye mujhey phasayenge (They will frame me).”In his conversation, he also alleged that he was scared and feared for his life, saying “mujhey maar denge (They will kill me).”

Currently the ED, CBI, and NCB are  probing all angles of the case. After taking over the investigations into Sushant's death, the CBI roped in the AIIMS forensic team to assist them in studying the case and to guide the federal agency to determine if there was any foul play in his death. The Bollywood actor was found dead in his Bandra apartment under mysterious circumstances.  As far as the Bollywood link in this  case is concerned, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is set to summon Bollywood actors Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor for questioning. Sara made her Bollywood debut with Sushant in ‘Kedarnath’ while Shraddha shared the screen with the late actor in ‘Chichhore’. Sara’s alleged involvement was brought to light by Rhea Chakraborty, Shraddha’s name popped up after it was stated that she joined the actor for the ‘Chhichhore’ success bash at his Lonavala farmhouse, where drugs were used.
