Los Angeles Accident: At Least 3 Killed, 6 Injured After Car Crashes Into 99 Ranch Market in Westwood

At least three people were killed and six others were injured after a speeding car crashed into a grocery store in Westwood on Thursday afternoon, February 5. The vehicle rammed into the 99 Ranch Market on Westwood Boulevard at around 12.11 pm.

According to reports, the car driver first hit a bicyclist and then continued to crush pedestrians and crashed into the 99 Ranch Market. Victims identified as a 42-year-old woman, a 55-year-old man and a 30-year-old man. They were all inside the store's bakery at the time of the crash.

Injured victims were transported to the nearby hospital and they are receiving treatment for their injuries. As per ABC7 News, one is in a serious condition and two are in stable condition. The bicyclist who was initially struck and the driver of the vehicle declined LAFD treatment and also declined to be transported to the hospital.

The driver was described as an elderly woman who is cooperating with investigators and is undergoing a medical evaluation.
