Rhode Island Shooting: Three Killed, Including Suspect, During Youth Hockey Game in Pawtucket; Firing Video Emerges
At least three killed, including the suspect, and three others were injured in a shooting at a youth hockey game in Rhode Island on Monday, February 16. According to the police, the suspect died from self-inflicted gun injuries. The victims were transported to a nearby hospital in a critical condition, reported Associate Press (AP)
Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves said police are not involved suspected shooter's death and are still investigating the motive of the firing. She said early investigation suggests it's a targeted and planned attack, which may be due to a family dispute.
The identity of the suspect and victims was not revealed by the officer, though she said it appeared that both victims were adults. Goncalves will take the testimony of the eyewitnesses who were present at the Dennis M. Lynch Arena in Pawtucket.
