Ashok Kharat Case: Son’s Shocking Confession Exposes Black Money Empire as SIT Probe Intensifies

The troubles of self-styled godman Ashok Kharat, accused of sexually exploiting women in the name of spirituality and cheating devotees of crores of rupees, have deepened significantly. Under intense interrogation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT), Kharat’s own son Harshwardhan has broken down and revealed shocking details about his father’s illicit empire. His revelations have stunned even the police. “Bundles of cash used to come into our house, and my father had complete control over it,” the son confessed, triggering widespread outrage. During questioning by the SIT, Kharat’s son provided startling information. He stated that large amounts of cash were regularly brought into their home. “I did not know where the money came from, but my father, Ashok Kharat, had direct control over all financial dealings. Every rupee came and went strictly on his orders,” he said. His statement indicates the existence of a vast illegal financial network operating from Kharat’s household.

Following these disclosures, the police now suspect the involvement of a major hawala racket in the case. Kharat is believed to have used various financial tactics to launder money extorted from devotees. The SIT has also interrogated three directors of the Shri Shivnika Sansthan linked to the Ishaaneshwar temple. Significant financial irregularities have been uncovered, and investigators are probing whether these entities were used as shell companies to channel black money.

Kharat’s methods were reportedly extremely manipulative and ruthless. He would exploit people’s faith by instilling fear, often telling devotees that “God is angry with you” or “a major crisis is about to strike your family.” Under the pretext of performing special rituals to avert these supposed dangers, he allegedly extorted lakhs of rupees. It has also emerged that he used this psychological pressure to sexually exploit several female devotees.

Kharat is believed to have amassed immense wealth through money taken from followers. The SIT is now closely examining all his bank accounts, benami properties, and investment records. A detailed financial audit of the Shri Shivnika Sansthan is expected soon. Based on the son’s revelations, authorities suspect that several prominent individuals involved in this syndicate may soon be exposed.
