Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut had criticized MNS chief Raj Thackeray over his meeting with Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari.

Raut had said that meeting governor on issues related to Maharashtra issues is an insult to the state. The state government is people-appointed, elected by the people. For any question or issue, one should first meet the ministers of the concerned department or the Chief Minister, the Governor has no executive power.

Now MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande has hit back at Raut. Deshpande has tweeted a photo of Sanjay Raut's meeting with the Governor a few days back. He targeted Raut by tweeting a photo saying 'Sanjay Raut himself while insulting Maharashtra'.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray on Wednesday met Koshyari regarding the increased electricity bill. MNS's official twitter account on Friday posted, "The party has requested the Governor to direct the state government to take a decision over the increased electricity bill and farmers' reasonable demand for a fair price for milk"
