Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has taken a complete U-turn on his controversial remarks on Sushant Singh Rajput's family. Raut had said that the late actor was not on good terms with his father.

Earlier the Sena leader had told the media that Sushant father had married twice, which was the reason the Bollywood actor was unhappy with K.K. Singh.

On Friday changing his stance on the whole issue, Raut said that he has full sympathy for Rajput’s family. “Yesterday I just said that they should’ve some patience but it was shown that I’ve threatened them. Was that a threat? Trust Mumbai Police. If you think they’re not doing a good job, then go to CBI.” he said.

He further added, "Sushant Singh Rajput was our son. He lived in Mumbai, he was an actor. Bollywood is Mumbai's family. What enmity will we have? Even we want his family to get justice. We want the secret behind his death to come out."

Sushant Singh Rajput's BJP MLA brother Niraj Kumar Babloo on Wednesday had sent a legal notice to Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and sought an apology within 48 hours over his alleged offensive comments on Sushant relations with his father K.K. Singh.
