No mega block on Sunday, May 3, on Wester, Central, Harbour, Trans-harbour and Uran lines. However, Central Railway and Western Railway have announced multiple night blocks during the intervening night of Saturday (May 2) and Sunday (May 3) for maintenance and infrastructure-related work.
According to information, there will be no daytime blocks on the Central Line, Harbour Line, Trans-Harbour Line, Uran Line or Western Line this weekend. However, several night-time blocks will affect local and long-distance train services between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
Central Line Night Block
A block will be carried out on the up and down slow lines between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Vidyavihar railway station from 12 am until 5.05 am. During the block period, slow services departing from CSMT between 11.30 pm on May 2 and 4.47 am on May 3 will be diverted to the fast line between CSMT and Vidyavihar stations. These trains will halt at Byculla, Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion and Kurla before returning to the slow line at Vidyavihar.
Similarly, up slow services departing from Ghatkopar between 11.29 pm and 5.04 am will run on the fast line between Vidyavihar and CSMT, with halts at Kurla, Sion, Matunga, Dadar, Parel and Byculla.
Thane-Vashi/Nerul Trans-Harbour Block
A block will also be undertaken on the up and down Trans-Harbour lines between Thane railway station and Vashi/Nerul from midnight until 4.45 am.
Train services on the Trans-Harbour route between Thane and Vashi/Nerul will remain suspended during this period. Several late-night services towards Panvel, Nerul and Vashi, as well as services towards Thane, will remain cancelled.
Kalyan-Badlapur Block
Central Railway will conduct a special traffic and power block between Kalyan Junction railway station and Badlapur railway station from 1.30 am to 3.30 am for overhead equipment infringement removal work on the third and fourth railway lines.
Suburban train services between Kalyan and Badlapur will remain cancelled during the block period.
The work will also affect several long-distance trains. The following trains will be diverted via the Karjat-Panvel route:

Railway authorities said trains scheduled to halt at Kalyan will instead halt at Panvel and Thane stations for passenger convenience.
Western Line Night Block
Western Railway will undertake a major night block between Jogeshwari railway station and Ram Mandir railway station for the launching of steel girders for Mumbai Metro Line 6.
The block on the sixth line will continue for 10 hours, from 9.30 pm on May 2 until 7.30 am on May 3. An additional block on the up fast line and the 5th line will be carried out between 1 am and 4 am.
During the block period, all sixth-line trains will operate on the up fast line between Borivali and Andheri. Some suburban services on both the up and down lines will remain cancelled.
Western Railway also said that Train No. 19038 Barauni–Bandra Terminus Avadh Express will be delayed by around 30 minutes between Surat and Borivali due to the work.
