Mumbai Weather Update: Clear Skies With Maximum Temperature of 31 Degrees Celsius; AQI ‘Satisfactory’
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather forecast for the next 24 hours for Mumbai city and its suburbs, expecting the maximum temperature to be around 31 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be near 23 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, April 8.
According to IMD, clear sky with no chance of rain today in the city. The overall Air Quality Index (AQI) is under the 'satisfactory' category at 68, as per data on the Central Pollution Control Board's Sameer App. Bandra reported an AQI of 81, while Borivali East clocked 209, which falls under the 'poor category'. Andheri East 95, Chembur 56, Colaba 63, and Deonar 118.
Maharashtra Weather Forecast
Vidarbha will face heatwave-like conditions as the temperature is likely to touch 36 degrees Celsius during the afternoon. In cities including Nagpur, Akola, and Chandrapur, mercury is going above the normal temperature.
Western Maharashtra and Marathwada also experienced clear skies. Pune, Kolhapur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Latur to experience temperatures around 32 to 34 degrees during the daytime. The temperature is also set to rise in the Nashik, Jalgaon, and Dhule regions.
