Nashik: Traffic Restrictions Imposed in Kathe Galli Area from April 16–18 Amid Law and Order Concerns

In view of the law and order situation in the Kathe Galli area under Mumbai Naka Police Station limits, traffic movement has been restricted in parts of the city. From April 16 to April 18, 2025, all types of vehicles will not be allowed on the route between Kathe Galli Signal and Nagji Signal. This decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to maintain public safety and smooth traffic flow.

As per the official order, both sides of the road from Kathe Galli Signal to Ananda Laundry and from Ananda Laundry to Nagji Signal Chowk will remain closed for all vehicle movements during this period. The police have advised citizens and drivers to use alternate routes to avoid inconvenience.

Alternative Routes Announced:

1. Vehicles coming from Mumbainaka or Bhabanagar towards Nagji Signal should use the Wadala Naka or Bharatnagar route.

2. Vehicles coming from Kathe Galli towards Nagji Signal should go via Dwarka Circle.

These changes will be in effect from 12:01 AM on April 16, 2025, and remain until April 18, 2025. However, the police have the right to modify the routes or extend the timings based on the situation.

Exemptions:

Essential service vehicles such as those belonging to the police, government departments, ambulances, fire brigades, and hearses will be allowed to pass through.

The Nashik Police Commissionerate has appealed to all citizens to cooperate and follow the new traffic rules during these days. They have also asked people to avoid unnecessary travel in the affected areas and stay updated through official sources.

Authorities have assured that these measures are temporary and aimed at ensuring public safety and smooth handling of the situation.
