Rekha Gupta took the oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi on Wednesday after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a decisive victory in the Assembly elections. Following the official oath-taking ceremony, Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva addressed the media on Friday, assuring that the new government would adopt a responsible approach to governance. He emphasized that "not a single penny of public money would be wasted on glorifying the government, the Chief Minister, or the party."
Sachdeva also highlighted that the BJP government’s advertisement policy would be fully transparent, ensuring that all advertisements are issued strictly in the public interest. This statement appears to be a direct reference to past allegations of excessive spending on advertisements by previous administrations.
