Bomb Threat to Delhi Schools: Police Rush to Multiple Locations, Probe Underway
Multiple schools across the national capital were placed on high alert on Friday morning, February 13, after receiving a series of bomb threats via email. The Delhi Police and bomb disposal squads were deployed to several locations to carry out extensive search operations, leading to the immediate evacuation of students and staff.
The first alert was reported at approximately 9:12 am at the BD Tamil Education school in Jhandewalan, central Delhi. Shortly after, at least two other institutions reported receiving similar threatening communications, prompting a coordinated emergency response across the city.

Several schools in Delhi have received bomb threats. Delhi Police teams have rushed to the locations to carry out checks.More details are awaited.

The first call was made at 9:13 AM to BD Tamil Education, Jhandewalan, regarding the threat.
Following the initial call from the Jhandewalan school, Delhi Fire Services (DFS) and local police units rushed to the affected campuses. Security protocols were immediately activated, with students being moved to safe assembly points or sent home early as a precautionary measure.
In a message to parents, another school said, "Dear Parents, this morning the school received a security threat. As a precautionary measure, the police are in school for necessary security measures. All students have been evacuated safely. Once the school is declared safe, classes will be resumed".
