People were informed about this on Wednesday. The research was jointly conducted by the National Clean Ganga Mission, Scientific and Industrial Council under the Ministry of Water Resources, Indian Institute of Toxicology and Central Pollution Control Board, State Pollution Control Board.
According to sources, the research was conducted in two phases. Water samples were taken from Kannauj, Unnao, Hamirpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ballia, Buxar, Ghazipur, Patna and Chapra. A large number of bodies were found floating in the river here. The combined samples of this water were examined and no SARS COV 2 components were found in it. In virological research, the RNA of the virus was extracted from a water sample. So that aquatic viral RTPCR can be tested. This report will help dispel doubts in people's minds.
