Chaos broke out in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) House on Wednesday as AAP and BJP councillors clashed during proceedings meant to finalise the budgets for 2024-25 and 2025-26.

Councillors from both parties chanted slogans, climbed onto tables, and tore agenda papers, disrupting the session. Congress members also joined the protests, carrying posters that read, “The Constitution is our identity; stop killing the Constitution.”

This marks the second consecutive day of disruption in the MCD House. On Tuesday, a similar scene unfolded as tensions flared between rival parties. The situation in the MCD House remains tense as political rivalries continue to disrupt official proceedings.
