Fire at Prayagraj Magh Mela: Two Tents of Kishori Camp Gutted in Blaze (Watch Video)

Another fire incident was reported at the Prayagraj Magh Mela in Uttar Pradesh. The blaze reported in Kishori Camp in Sector 6 of the Magh Mela two tents of the camp reportedly gutted in blaze. Panic gripped the area soon after the blaze erupted. 

More than 10 fire brigade vehicles rushed to the spot. However, no one was injured in the incident. Following the fire, police personnel were deployed along with firefighters, and the entire area was secured as a precautionary measure. The fire was brought under control.

This was the latest in a series of fire incidents at the Magh Mela. On Wednesday evening, a major fire broke out at the Brahmashram Camp on Lower Road in Sector 4. Strong winds caused the flames to spread rapidly, engulfing two large camps within seconds. More than 10 tents were destroyed, though pilgrims managed to escape safely.

The blaze was so intense that thick smoke was visible from nearly five kilometres away. Fire brigade teams controlled the fire after spraying large quantities of water. The area was sealed off to prevent further spread of the flames.

Earlier, on Tuesday evening, another fire erupted at the Narayan Shukla Dham Camp, destroying around 15 tents and nearly 20 shops. One pilgrim sustained burn injuries in that incident.
