UP: 15 dead after house collapses due to cylinder blast

Atleast 15 peope have been reported dead and several injured in  Uttar Pradesh’s Mau disrict after a house collapsed following a cylinder blast on Monday morning.

Atleast 15 peope have been reported dead and several injured in  Uttar Pradesh’s Mau disrict after a house collapsed following a cylinder blast on Monday morning.According to local authorities, many people are feared of being trapped. In Mau's Mohammadabad area, a cylinder exploded in a two-storey house. The intensity of the explosion was so strong that the building collapsed.The people in the area said that a loud explosion was heard and soon afterwards fire broke inside the house. A rescue operation is under way at the collapsed house  to check whether people are trapped in the debris.Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his condolences to the deceased family. He ordered the District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police and all other officials to  ensure that the injured get all the medical help and relief.
