Yamuna Expressway Accident: 13 Injured as Passenger Bus Overturns After Colliding with Divider in UP
13 passengers were injured in an accident on the Yamuna Expressway at Milestone 131 in Uttar Pradesh in the early hours of Wednesday, October 1. The incident took place near Agai village in Baldev, Uttar Pradesh, when a bus carrying passengers was overturned after colliding with a divider.
The double-decker bus was traveling from Noida to Kanpur when it suddenly lost control on the Yamuna Expressway. The injured were shifted to S.N. Medical College and Hospital in Agra. The police and rescue team rushed to the spot after receiving the information. Alternate transport was arranged for others. Traffic has been restored and the situation is under control.

The cause of the accident is believed to be a driver falling asleep near Agai village in Baldev. Injured passengers were identified as Turkipur Auraiya, Sushila, Madan Singh, Sahil Khan, Shaukeen Khan, resident of Jalaun, Mansi, resident of Shuklaganj Unnao, Aradhana Akbarpur Kanpur Dehat, Adil, resident of Rawatpur Kanpur, Kurmida, Aman, resident of Itora Jalaun, Yunus, resident of Shahganj Jalaun, Pramod Yadav, resident of Fatehpur, Arvind Singh, resident of Patel Nagar Kanpur, Sharoon, resident of Akbarpur Kanpur Nagar, etc. were seriously injured.
