Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who got married in 2018, have bought a luxurious villa in Alibaug, near Mumbai.
As per reports, the cost of the house is close to Rs 22 crore; while they are said to have paid Rs 1.32 crore stamp duty for the whopping deal.
The bungalow is spread across 9,000 square metres (sq m) of land in a village called Mapgaon. This will be Deepika and Ranveer's second home or more like, holiday home when they want to escape from the Mumbai hustle,
According to report carried by the Hindustan Times, the couple purchased the property from a person named Rajesh S Jaggi.
Deepika and Ranveer currently reside at a high-rise in Mumbai's Prabhadevi area. It's a 4-bhk flat which Deepika has been owning since 2010. Post marriage, Ranveer decided to move into the same house while he has reportedly invested in another 5-bhk flat in the same tower.
Deepika is also believed to have also bought a service apartment in an under-construction tower at her hometown, Bengaluru.
On the professional front, both Deepika and Ranveer are busy with their respective line-up of films.
This second home investment comes after Ranveer Singh already splurged on a Lamborghini Urus Capsule as well as the Mercedes Maybach GLS600.
. Alibaug, since it is so close to the city and offers lovely weather and clean beaches, has been a hot property among celebrities and industrialists for holiday homes.
