Priyanka Chopra opens up about the constant scrutiny over her body

In a recent interview, former Miss World and icon, Priyanka Chopra opened up about dealing with body image issues and how with time she has learned to accept it the way it is.
Speaking to Yahoo Life, Priyanka Chopra said, "Well, I won't lie that I don't get affected by it. My has changed as I've gotten older, just as everyone's body does, and I've had to adapt mentally as well with like, OK, this is what it looks like now, this is what I look like now, it's alright and catering to my now body and not my 10 or 20-years-ago body."
The Quantico actress further added, "I think that that's very crucial and I feel like that really takes finding a sense of confidence in what you bring to the table outside of what you look like. I always think about how am I contributing? What is my purpose? Am I doing good with the tasks that I've been given for the day? I try to be myopic about feeling good about other things, even on days that I don't feel the best about my body, and I work toward whatever makes me happy at that time."
Priyanka added that she also knows her confidence and her ability to impress others 'has nothing to do with my body'.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas started a fundraiser in association with GiveIndia to help raise funds for people affected by Covid-19 in India.
The couple managed to successfully raise $1 million (Rs 7,36,28,200). They have now raised the fundraising target to $3 million (Rs 22,08,80,100)
Priyanka informed her fans on social media that more than 14,000 donors have contributed to the fundraiser. The money raised is already being deployed to help people with oxygen concentrators and vaccine support.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is currently shooting Amazon Prime Video series Citadel in London, where she has been since the end of last year. She also shot for her film Text For you with Sam Heughan there.
