There are some countries in the world whose passports are considered the strongest, while there are some countries whose passports are considered the weakest. Now the ranking of such passports in 2022 has come to the fore.
The Henley Passport Index has been issuing passport rankings every year since 2006, showing which countries have the most independent passports in the world.
According to the Henley Passport Index 2022, Latvia, Slovenia and Estonia together rank tenth on the list of the most powerful passports in the world. Passport holders from these countries can travel to 181 countries without a visa.
With free access to 182 countries, Lithuania and Slovakia together rank ninth on the list of the most powerful passports in the world.
According to the Henley Passport Index, Poland and Hungary are the eighth-best passports in the world in 2022. This passport allows citizens to travel to 183 countries without a visa.
The Czech Republic, Greece, Malta, and New Zealand are seventh on the list, with access to 185 countries without a visa.
Switzerland, the United States, the United Kingdom, Norway, New Zealand, and Belgium are sixth on the list. This passport can be accessed in 186 countries.
Portugal and Ireland are fifth on the list of 187 countries with visa-free entry.
People from France, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Austria can visit 188 countries without a visa. These five countries are fourth on the list.
Spain, Luxembourg, Italy, and Finland are third on the list with 189 countries having visa-free entry.
South Korea and Germany are second on the list. These two countries have access to 190 countries.
According to the Henley Passport Index, the passports of Japan and Singapore are the most powerful in the world. Holders of passports from both countries can travel to 192 countries without a visa.
