There will be many big changes in the new year. Their effect will be directly on the general public. This includes changes from bank lockers to car purchases. What are these changes that will come into force from the 1st of next month, their overview is as follows.

5 major changes are coming from January 1. There is a change in between. Increase in car prices. Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Mota, Tata Motors, Mercedes Benz, Audi, Renault, Kia India and MG Motor to see price hike from January 1, 2023.

Another change in the new years is related to bank lockers. You will need to see if you have signed a new locker agreement to use the bank locker from January 1.

Apart from that some banks are also going to change the rules related to credit cards. HDFC Bank is going to change the rewards points and fee structure of the credit card. Also SBI has changed some rules for its SimplyCLICK cardholders.

GST rules will also change from January 1. Businesses with an annual turnover of more than Rs 5 crore will now be required to generate e-invoices.

It includes one change related to the phone. From 1st, every phone manufacturer and its import and export company has to register the IMEA number of every phone.
