The Indian Postal Department has invited applications for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). This is a golden opportunity for 10th pass candidates.

Candidates will be recruited for a total of 38,926 posts of Branch Postmaster and Assistant Branch Postmaster. A detailed notification in this regard has been issued on the official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

Interested candidates can apply for these posts till June 5. Vacancies are available in various parts of the country and are available on the website. Candidates applying for this recruitment should have passed 10th standard and should not be more than 40 years of age.

Apart from this, it is also mandatory for the candidate to come for cycling. Candidates should also have knowledge of their local language.

In case of selection for the post of Branch Post Master, the candidates will be appointed on a monthly salary of Rs. 12000 and the candidates selected for the post of Assistant Branch Post Master will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 10,000.

No test will be taken for this selection. Candidates will be selected through a computer-generated merit list. The application process for these posts has started on 2nd May and the last date will be 5th May.
