The government has made many rules regarding driving to avoid road accidents. These rules are known as traffic rules. It is necessary to follow these rules. If not, the police can take penal action against you.

The traffic police can stop any vehicle on the road for inspection and ask for the documents of that vehicle. In this case the driver is required to show the documents. Meanwhile, incidents of abuse by police personnel keep coming to light.

If the traffic police stop you while driving on the road and ask you to show your vehicle documents, you can ask the concerned policeman to show his official driving license. You should also note the number on the uniform of the concerned policeman.
