In a shocking incident, a moving two-wheeler suddenly caught fire near the Pune Metro station close to the DRM office, triggering panic among bystanders. As flames erupted from the vehicle, locals immediately rushed to the spot to help control the situation. The incident took place on Wednesday May 13 morning.
According to Pune Plus report, there are no casualties, and authorities are currently searching for the cause behind the fire. A video which has surfaced on social media shows the thick layer of flames coming out of the scooter.
In Nashik, a massive blaze broke out on Wednesday May 6, morning at Star Mall triggering panic in surrounding areas. A visual shared by PTI shows thick layer of smoke is seen erupting from the mall's building. After fire, the evacuation efforts started immediately underway using firefighters' ladders, as several individuals remain trapped in the building. Authorities confirmed that no casualties have been reported.
As per the reports, fire in the basement of a complex gutted three parked vehicles, including an ambulance, and produced thick black smoke that alarmed occupants and nearby residents. Nashik Road fire brigade and Maharashtra Fire Services personnel responded with two fire tenders and an ambulance, containing the blaze to the vehicles. As a precaution, some patients from hospitals within the complex were moved to safer areas due to the smoke.
