According to Thane Municipal Corporation, a fire broke out at the Dev Corpora building in Khopat in Maharashtra's Thane. The fire extinguishing operation is in full swing.

Ten people have been rescued from the spot so far. The fire brigade and police officers are present at the spot, and the firefighting operation is underway. According to the Disaster Management Section, the incident occurred at the Jijau Foundation office, located on the 11th floor of a building near Cadbury Junction in Khopat, around 11:51 PM on Tuesday night.

The fire caused heavy smoke to spread throughout the building, prompting a swift response from emergency services. The fire brigade personnel arrived at the scene with a rescue vehicle after receiving the information. There were no reported injuries.

The blaze was extinguished by the Fire Brigade personnel at around 4:00 AM, and cooling operations are currently underway. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
