Aurangabad, Feb 21:

Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health department screened 1016 residents in the city on Sunday. Out of the 205 antigen tests, 55 were found Corona positive while swab samples of 811 residents were collected. Their reports will be received tomorrow morning.

Similarly, AMC teams recovered fine from 165 residents wandering in the city without masks. Each of them was fined Rs 500 while a total amount of Rs 82,500 was collected on Sunday. Apart, Rs 1.04 lakh fine was recovered from the traders using plastic bags and residents dumping garbage on roads.

The passengers coming by the Sachkhand Express in the city are being tested. On Saturday, 171 passengers were tested, of which four were reported positive today. On Sunday, 198 passengers were tested at Railway Station and 77 at Airport, 18 at Jadhavwadi vegetable market and 3 were tested at Sunday weekly market.
