Aurangabad, Feb 24:

For the first time in India, about 75 trainers will be trained at the Marathwada Auto Cluster (MAC) under the 'SANKALP' initiative by the Ministry of Skills, Government of India and the Maharashtra State Skill Development Institute. The initiative was inaugurated on Monday by entrepreneur Ram Bhogle and MAC president Munish Sharma.

Despite having a degree, there are often no job opportunities due to a lack of up-to-date skills. With this in mind, the skill development department of the central government and MAC have come together and started an initiative called Sankalp. This activity will help create trainers to train the industrial workers in the company. MAC managing director Jayant Padalkar, Ravi Shankar, Rajendra Madkhedkar, Sankalp enterprise coordinator Shirish Loya and Vivek Korangalekar were present on the occasion.

Youths should take advantage

Youths who want to become trainers should take advantage of this opportunity, appealed Sharma. In the first phase, 75 people will be trained. Candidates will be selected for expertise in robotic technology, CNC programming and cutting edge welding technology. The automotive skills development council will train on behalf of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). This activity is open to anyone above the age of 18.

The candidate must have work experience in the company, ITI or technical education. The three-month training will include one month of theory and two months of on-the-job training. In the first phase, three batches of 25 candidates are planned.
