The Government put a ban on the recruitment of employees, including teaching and non-teaching staff in colleges.

The aided colleges have 1439 posts vacant including teachers 817 with the jurisdiction of Bamu. The senior colleges were asked to conduct online teaching. But, many colleges do not have full-time teachers, while CHB teachers were not hired yet.

The university and some colleges sought permission to continue service of last years CHB teachers.

Joint-director (Aurangabad division) Dr Digamber Gaikwad said that they had not received any instructions from the Government to hire services of CHB teachers.

The workload of a teacher is fixed as per the students' strength dated October 1, 2017, of the colleges. Two CHB teachers can be hired for one full-time teacher's vacant post.
