9 Aurangabad students join Company Secretary fraternity

Nine candidates from Aurangabad have excelled in the Company Secretary (CS, Professional) examination conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in December 2020. The result was declared on February 25.

It is for the first time that a student from Aurangabad Chapter of the WIRC Region, Sudarshan Vijaykumar Maharshi, secured the All India Rank 1, with score of 552 marks (out of 900), said chairman of the Aurangabad Chapter of WIRC CS Paresh Deshpande. According to an Aurangabad branch statement, following students have cleared professional programme and have joined CS fraternity from Aurangabad centre:

Sudarshan Maharshi, Zoya Hirani, Amruta Kulkarni, Anjali Bhudani, Jayant Nikam, Kajal Agrawal, Minvit Kaur Bagga, Poonam Tapdiya, Vishal Narote, Akshay Changede and Sandeep Sharma.

A total of 51 students passed the professional programme and 133 passed executive programme at various centres in Marathwada. Aurangabad Chapter manages examination centres for Aurangabad, Jalna, Ahmednagar, Nanded, Latur and Jalgaon. Overall, more than 600 students had appeared for the professional programme examination and more than 1500 students appeared for the executive programme examination from above districts. The Aurangabad branch management committee has congratulated all successful students.
