Aurangabad, March 27:

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) has started online and offline examinations of the graduation courses from March 16 onwards. In all, 44812 students have given online examination and 92635 offline examinations till Thursday. The results of the Arts and commerce stream will be declared by April end, informed the vice chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole.

The academic year of the students has hampered due to the Corona crisis. Last year, the university had conducted offline and online examination of the graduation and post graduation courses. The students were allowed to give the examination at any college in the jurisdiction of BAMU due to Corona. Hence, many students gave both online and offline examinations. Many students did not had the experience of using the OMR sheet and hence many did not write the PNR number on the sheet. Hence, the results of 18,000 students were reserved.

Considering the last years experience, the students were allowed to give offline examination at the colleges. Until now, 68 percent students have given offline and 32 percent online examinations. The university is providing the answer key to the colleges next day of the examination and the colleges after checking the papers are sending the results online to the university. Hence, no technical snags were faced this year. Hence, the results of the Arts and Commerce streams will be declared by April end and science stream’s after that, informed the director of the examination evaluation department, Dr Yogesh Patil.
