Aurangabad, Nov 1:

Administrator of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) Astik Kumar Pandey will go to the office on a bicycle on November 2 adopting the concept ‘Cycle to Work Day.’

It may be noted the administrator instructed the officers and employees to come to the office on bicycle on the first day of every month. Besides Astik Kumar Pandey, other officers will be arrived in AMC on a bicycle under the campaign ‘Cycles 4 Change’ on Monday. He had implemented a similar campaign in Akola when he was district collector there.

“Cycling is not just part of sports, it can be used in our daily life. There is a need to develop a mindset among common men for this. More use of bicycle will help in maintaining one’s fitness and reduce the pollution of the city as well. All citizens should support the campaign and use in their daily life,” he asserted.
