Aurangabad, Jan 1:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 142 antigen and 942 RT-PCR tests (total 1084 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 15 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 22 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected six Covid-19 patients on the spot. The AMC personnel also held 117 RT-PCR tests on suspects. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams conducted 50 antigen tests and detected six Covid-19 patients (including one from an area out of AMC limit). It also collected swab collection of 722 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted eight RT-PCR tests; District Civil Hospital conducts one, and private laboratories performed 94 today. The private laboratories also conducted 70 antigen tests and found three infected patients. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
