Aurangabad, Dec 24:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) after Britain has declared of launching a search to trace the citizens returning from England in the last one month.

On the guidelines and directives of the union Government, the AMC will now survey of citizens returning from England between November 25 and December 23.

According to a press release issued by the municipal officer of health (MoH), the citizens, who had returned to the city from visiting England after November 25 should voluntarily come forward for COVID testing. They should contact the AMC health section or contact the AMC''s Corona Control Room on mobile number 8956306007.

It may be noted that sensation prevailed after one 28-year-old youth from Nagpur, who had returned home after visiting England, is rumoured to have been tested as Covid-19 positive. The new variant of the Coronavirus is creating a terror in South and East of England. The health officials of Nagpur Municipal Corporation had sent the youth''s swab sample for testing to NIV-Pune. The NMC had not confirmed that the youth is tested as positive, so far.
