Aurangabad, Dec 15:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) officials have sealed five mobile towers of different companies in Padegaon area (under the jurisdiction of Zone No.1 office ), to recover property tax dues of Rs 10.62 lakh, today.

The sealed mobile towers include three of Reliance Jio and one each of Indus and Viom companies. The AMC has to recover property tax of Rs 7.75 lakh from Indus, Rs 2.37 lakh from Viom and Rs 48,987 from Reliance Co.

Under directives of the municipal commissioner A K Pandey and the guidance of assessor and collector of tax Nandkishore Bhombe, the staff of Zone No. 1 took action.
