Aurangabad, Nov 2:

It appears that the aspirants of Ph D Entrance Test (PET) will have to wait for some more months as Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University has not declared PET schedule yet.

It may be noted that as per the norms, the university should conduct the test twice in a year. The university held the last test in 2016. Since then the aspirants are waiting for it.

There is a big difference between the availability of seats and research guides.

Because of which, the number of aspirants is increasing every year.

A senior officer from the administration said that there is no planning for the PET as the examinations of different undergraduate and postgraduate courses were conducted, and the result is awaited.BAMU is likely to hold it in January 2021.

Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole has sought a report from department heads and principals about the vacant posts of Ph D admission.

He also got updated the list of research centres and permitted new centres after the scrutiny.
