Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

A rickshaw driver and a passenger sustained serious injuries in a collision with a speedy car at the Ramnagar turnoff, on April 6. Jugal Kailash Janjot (52, Bhausinghpura) was transporting passengers as usual on Sunday. Motilal Gangve and Sunita Ragde were sitting in the rickshaw. He went via Jalna Road to drop them off at Ramnagar. While the rickshaw was turning at Mukundwadi's corner, the speedy car driver (MH 01 BK 8110) hit the rickshaw from behind. The rickshaw was thrown far away. Sunita suffered serious injuries to her head and waist. While rickshaw driver Jugal suffered serious injuries with three toes broken. A case has been registered against the driver in this case at the MIDC Cidco police station. Further investigation is on.
