Dr Babasahe Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) on Saturday announced the examinations schedule of different undergraduate (UG) courses.

Bamu on September 5 had announced to conduct the examinations of 1.50 lakh students UG and postgraduate degrees in Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Osmanbad districts between October 1 and 15.

However, the officers and employees of the university were on week-long pen-down agitation for their pending demands. They decided to intensify their agitation from October 1. Because of this, the university postponed all the examinations.

The employees called off their agitation on October 1 while there was a public holiday on October 2. A meeting of top officers of the university and principals was held on Saturday. Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole chaired it.

Director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation (BoEE) Dr Yogesh Patil and Pro-vice chancellor Dr Pravin Wakte were present. Dr Yogesh Patil said that the examinations of UG courses like B A, B Com, B Sc would commence from October 9 and end on October 29.

First time, all the students will attempt any 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), out of the total of 60 questions, for all the subjects papers. Each question will carry one mark. The candidates will have options to go for online or offline mode of examinations.

BAMU will prepare guidelines for the implementations of Novel coronavirus measures like physical distancing.

The timetable of the PG courses examination is likely to be declared on October 5.
