Aurangabad, Feb 2:

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) will hold the Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) camp between February 4 and 6 for teachers' promotion.

The administration invited promotion proposals from the different departments up to January 15 as per the rules and regulations laid down by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Teachers applied for the promotion for the post of senior professor, professor, associate professor.

A committee comprising one representative of vice-chancellor, one from the higher education department and a subject expert will interview the teachers from February 4 to 6.

The teachers were sent a detailed schedule for the interview.

Of the total proposals, 12 are for promotion for the post of professors and two for senior professor.
