Aurangabad, Nov 20:

Gachchadhipati Acharya Vijay Abhaydev Surishwar Maharaj and Acharya Shri Moksharatna Vijay Maharaj will be the chief guests at a programme organised on the occasion of Lord Mahavir Janma Utsav celebrated from April 7 to 29 in city.

Under Bhagwan Mahavir Janmotsav, 21-day religious and social rituals, nine-day Padmavati Mata Pujan and Chaitramas Ayambil Oliji and Bhagwan Mahavir Janmakalyanak Mahotsav have been organized this year. Various programmes and rituals will be held at the Shri Munisuvratnath Jain Shwetambar Temple (Karnapura), Shreesangh (Vedantnagar), Shri Sambhavnath-Jinkushal Jain Temple (Dadawadi Vardhman Residency), Shri Shankheshwar Parshwanath Jain Temple (Cidco N-3), Shri Godiji Parshwanath Jain Shwetambar Temple (Johariwada), Shri Vardhman Sthanakwasi Jain Shrawak Sangh Mahavir Bhavan (Kumbharwada), Shri Terapanth Bhavan (Pandariba), Shri Khandelwal Parshwanath Digambar Jain Temple (Raja Bazar) and Shri Vimalnath Jain Shwetambar Mandir (Bamboo Galli) in the presence of Acharya Vijay Abhaydev Surishwar Maharaj, Acharya Shri Moksharatna Vijay Maharaj and sadhus and sadhvis. Sanjay Sancheti, vice president of Sakal Jain Samaj Samiti, Ravi Mugdiya, Anil Kumar Sancheti, president of Bhagwan Mahavir Janmakalyanak Mahotsav Samiti, Satish Sancheti, Members and trustees have appealed to participate in the Janmotsav program.
