Aurangabad, Nov 4:

The City BJP activists hit the streets at Kranti Chowk on Wednesday over the arrest of journalist Arnav Goswami. They alleged that the Mahavikas Aghadi Government is curbing the democratic values. Later the party leaders and supporters gathered at the Kranti Chowk police station after the agitating activists were arrested.

The agitation to condemn the arrest was led by BJP City – District chief, Sanjay Kenekar. The agitators shouted slogans against the government, alleging that it is curbing the freedom of the press. The police arrested the agitators including Kenekar, general secretary Sameer Rajurkar, Rajgaurav Wankhede and others. MLA, Atul Save, Pramod Rathod, Anil Makariye, Rameshwar Bhadve, Manoj Bharaskar and others also participated in the agitation.
