Aurangabad, Nov 29:

The statements made by the Marathwada Graduate Constituency election BJP candidate Shirish Boralkar against me is childish. He is like my son but childish, replied former MP Jaisinghrao Gaikwad through during a press conference on Sunday to the allegations of Boralkar.

Gaikwad further said that no one could stop the sitting MLC Satish Chavan from winning this election. BJP had used him (Gaikwad) for 12 years, while all the leaders presently working in the BJP are dissatisfied. Chavan will win by a margin of 25,000 votes, and he has raised 2,898 questions in the house, Gaikwad said.

On the allegations of the Boralkar, he said, there is competition among the leaders in BJP. Each one is afraid of another. Boralkar though is like my son but still childish, he mentioned.

The constitution of the BJP party is being breached. Later Gopinath Mundhe was also dissatisfied on two occasions due to the wrong attitude of the party. Had ever state president Chandrakant Patil bear the sticks during the agitation. Pankaja Mundhe and MP Raosaheb Danve have also been sidelined, Gaikwad alleged.

When asked whether he had discussions with anyone before leaving BJP, Gaikwad said, there is no one with the capacity to have discussions. I was asking for responsibility but I was ignored even in the state executive. I had wrote to former minister Sudhir Mungantiwar and former chief minister Devendra Phadnavis and the union minister Amit Shah in this regard, but there was not response. I will now work for strengthening the organisation in NCP, he said.
